Santa
& Sons Oregon Christmas tree farm operates year round. The tree
farm uses environmentally responsible, sustainable farming methods
certified by the Coalition of Environmentally Conscious Growers.
Christmas tree grower's farming practices are evaluated by the Freer
Consulting Company based in Seattle, WA which audits the farm's
environmental compliance for riparian and wetland management, soil
and water conservation, nutrient management, site selection, pest
management, worker health and hygiene, biodiversity, and consumer
outreach. Complete field inspections occur every three years with
annual follow ups. It is a thorough process which represents a genuine
effort on the part of Christmas tree growers to environmentally
certify thier farming methods. We're proud of the positive impact
tree farming has on our environment
