"We are delighted and very
grateful that Samuel L. Jackson and Mike Farrell came here to help
us and the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation's Trees for Troops program,"
says Rohlfs, an Oregon tree grower whose lot has been operating
in the Los Angeles area since 1992. "This program gives everyone
a chance to do something to let deserving military families know
that we are thinking about them at Christmas."
About the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation:
The Christmas SPIRIT Foundation, the 501(c)(3)
charitable organization of the National Christmas Tree Association,
was established in 2005 to support programs helping kids, families,

About Trees for Troops:

LA Family Housing
There
were a lot of very happy young faces on the morning Santa and Sons
donated an 18' foot tall Noble Fir to Los Angeles Family Housing.
When these kids remember the giant Christmas tree from their youth,
they'll remember putting on the top decoration from the second story
window!
Christmas should be joyful; a time to revel in the
beauty of the season and a time to demonstrate a generous spirit
benefiting one's neighbors and community.
Santa and Sons recognizes their unique role in spreading
holiday cheer to people in need of some of that Yuletide spirit.
Somewhat resembling Santa with his long hair and gray beard, Mark
cheerily moves out in the community to drop off trees. Acting like
Santa is great fun and so is delivering some special Christmas trees
during the holidays. We ask all members of the community to donate
to charitable organizations at Christmastime that support families.
Santa & Sons will provide free delivery within our regular service
area for any tree donated to a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
